Lockins is a French Celtic neo-folk band. This group subtly navigates between folk and tradition, embracing, through its travels, inspirations, melodies, and rhythms from elsewhere.
Romain, Pierre-Alexis, and Elliott have their musical roots anchored in diverse genres. However, it is in the purity of Irish ballads, in wild jigs, and twirling reels that they have chosen to drop anchor.
The three friends of the famous Celtic music trio from the Paris region will take you on a journey to the sounds of their voices, their guitars, the Bodhran, the banjo and the Bouzouki on ballads that break the heart as well as on the most catchy tunes of the Celtic folk repertoire or even on original compositions whose melodies will make even the most reluctant move.

Lockins was born in the thick atmosphere of drunken pubs where laughter and singing make us forget everything and leave room for only joy. But it is of course on the big festival stages, these giant arenas, that Lockins and its musicians best defend their music and brand the minds and hearts of the public. Lockins is an incredible energy, funny stories, and sublime ballads whose beauty brings tears to the eyes and tightens the heart.
The band takes its name from an Irish tradition, the Lock-in, which sees a public establishment transformed into a private place, thus defying the ban on the sale of alcohol and allowing the party to continue until the early hours. This is the Lockins' challenge: to bring this celebration, this complicity, and this union to every audience. A Lockins concert is like a big family reunion.
